2014 Resolutions

Hi Everyone!

Now I know that it's already the end of January and I'm definitely late in the game but I still wanted to make some resolutions. I should've done it sooner but ya know.. shoulda coulda woulda lol so here I am with my resolutions.. better late than never! :)

Even though I didn't write them down in the beginning of the year, I still kinda had something in mind so I can give you progress on what I've been working on etc.

Reading: I have officially completed 10 books and currently reading my 11th one :) I have my little goodreads counter on the side panel :)

Eating: I have been trying to watch what I eat but I definitely need to make more of an effort.

Weight Loss: Definitely need to work on this :p

Blogging: I have definitely been blogging everyday since I started my blog on the 15th of January except for 1 day I believe so I'm super happy about it. I never realized how much I would love blogging!

Schedule Maintaining: I haven't actually created my schedule as of yet but I will be creating one for blogging, housework etc to make sure that I can stay on track.. if not I feel like I forget to do things :p

Do you guys have any resolutions for this year? How are they going?

until next time <3

  1. I learned a LONG time ago that Resolutions just don't work for me.. to be honest, I curse the idea of them. Setting myself up for failure is horrible! So instead, I make goals. The goals that I made at the beginning of the year haven't even been entertained yet. If there were any goals that I wanted to pursue more than anything, it would be my health/weight loss. I feel like I have "let myself go" when really, I'm just not active anymore. I lack motivation and while I know that I'm no different than most people.. I need to find a cure for this issue. If you figure it out-- let me know!! Good luck with your resolutions--

    1. to be honest, resolutions don't usually work for me either.. because I agree with you.. it's just setting yourself up for failure but for some reason this year I feel a bit different.. and maybe too because these resolutions are for the year but I still have my mini goals for the month or week to reach the resolution long term if that makes sense. and yes, I am completely in the same boat.. i haven't started the working out losing weight side yet.. but i'm getting there.. i tend to lack the motivation as well :/ and I know that i definitely need to jump on the bandwagon, specially since my wife and I want to try getting pregnant in about a year. I have to be at my best by then since I'm going to be the one with child at that point. so that's my motivation and it gets stronger and stronger everyday :)

i think too having someone holding you accountable helps in the motivation and getting into the game so to speak so if you need or want one, i'm totally here for ya :)
