Hi Everyone!

Happy Thursday! Are you excited for the weekend? I can't wait for the weekend for sure :)

Man, I thought I would never be able to get this up today because I've had so many issues with my cable modem. The one that we've had for the past 6 months decided to literally short out and smoke this morning when I went to check out why we didn't have any internet. Then I went to get a replacement and that one didn't work so I thought all was lost but then, we got it all figured out and now here I am :) but anywho enough about that.. let's get started :)



Reading: I actually just finished a trilogy that I'll talk more about on Tuesday but I just started a new series called Magic After Dark boxed set and the first book is actually Sacrificed in Shadow by SM Reine. So far its pretty good :)



Doing: getting a bunch of things ready for something really exciting.. more news to come shortly :)

Thankful for: my family and friends and life, yummy food and new beginnings!

Watching: I have to get caught up on a few shows like PLL and such but currently I'm actually watching Mask on tv.. its such a good movie!

Loving: life and my new Kate Spade handbag and phone case :)

January 2014 Beauty Favorites!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Hump Day! The week is halfway over and what better way to celebrate than to post up the beauty things I've been loving this past month! I did try out a few new things that I've been loving so let's get started!



For face, I have been loving the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Powder Foundation,(wow that's a mouthful), and I love using the Tarte Airbuki brush to apply it. I actually think I might love the brush more than the foundation because it applies powder foundation amazingly! I've tried it with my bareminerals foundations as well and love the way it applies! It makes it look so airbrushed and perfect! I would say that this foundation is a medium coverage foundation but can be built up to full coverage. I love that it doesn't look powdery or cakey as well. The best part about it is that it feels really light on my skin! (for your reference I'm in the color fair-honey)



For my eyes and blush I have been obsessed with the new Tarte Mattenificent palette! It's just so pretty and the purples really bring out my hazel eyes :) The blush in it is great as well because it's flattering on my pale skintone and it stays all day and can be worn everyday. I have been wearing this ever since I got it :)



Last but certainly not least, I have been really loving my Kevyn Aucoin eyelash curler. It's big enough for all my lashes to comfortably fit in it and the curl comes out pretty great. I really like the fact that it has a red cushion as well because you can really see if all your lashes are in it. Definitely recommend for sure!

Surprise Gift from My Love! Kate Spade Goodies :)

Hi Everyone!

I don't know if you guys know this or not but I love Kate Spade! I have a few of their handbags and phone cases and jewelry but everytime I walk into their store I want more. :p I just love the brand.. I think that its just so classy and trendy at the same time. Love it!

Well anyway, my wife decided to surprise me with a few goodies from Kate Spade and boy was I surprised! I have been hinting that I really wanted a mint green bag for the spring and she got me one! I am so excited and I wanted to share with you guys! please don't think I'm trying to brag, I was just so excited I wanted to share because I think of you guys as friends :)

Here is the bag she got me :) The lighting did not do this bag justice so I included a picture of the bag from the store. Isn't it beautiful?! it is the Kate Spade Perry Lane Handbag in dusty mint. I believe it comes in a few other colors as well.



She also got me the bow ring I've been wanting in the mint green as well. :) I currently have it in white and black but I'm super excited to have gotten it in the mint as well because it matches some of the other jewelry she got me for Christmas.

The last thing she got me was a new iPhone case :) I love Kate Spade iPhone cases so I was really excited to see this one!



I'm super grateful for my wife and everything she does for me. She definitely spoils me.. but she did get all these goodies at the Kate Spade Outlet so everything was discounted which is even better :)

Tea Time Tuesday and Latest Reads #2

Hi Everyone!

Happy Tuesday! I'm so excited to bring you guys the second edition of Tea Time Tuesday and Latest Reads! Let's get started!



This week's tea is the Tazo Apricot Vanilla Creme white tea. This tea is very light and it has a hint of the apricot and you can really taste the creaminess of the vanilla. It is amazing and perfect for a day time tea. As far as caffeine goes, it has a 3 out of 5 so it's not too bad. I would definitely recommend this tea. It is super yummy! I found this at Target for around $3-4.



Just Finished: Seriously.. I'm Kidding by Ellen Degeneres. I definitely enjoyed this book more than Mindy Kaling's book. It was full of random funniness and I just love Ellen's quirky personality. It was a fairly easy read, but I do have to admit because it's not my normal kind of read.. typically I read YA fiction, it took me longer than normal to read. I do recommend this read.. specially if you like autobiographies and such. Side note: I do think that I might have enjoyed this more on audio book because Ellen reads it herself so that's something to keep in mind :)

Cursed by S.J. West. I am loving this trilogy! I seriously read this entire book within 24 hours! I just couldn't put it down! it's about fallen angels.. I definitely recommend for sure!



Current Read: Blessed by S.J. West. I'm on the second book and I'm already halfway through it and I started it last night. It's really good as well and I can't wait to finish this book and start the next one! Super easy read and love the story line :)

50 Random Facts about Me

Hi Everyone!

Happy Sunday! I hope that you have enjoyed your weekend :) Here are 50 random facts about me. I thought this would be fun and you guys will be able to get to know me a bit better :) Let's get started!

1) I'm half Korean and half German.

2) I can read and speak Korean but can't write it very well.

3) I have 2 dogs: one chihuahua named Sirius Black and a min pin chihuahua mix named Jarvis.

4) Yes, both my doggies are named from movies :)

5) Harry Potter is my all time favorite series to read and watch.

6) I love reading YA (young adult) fiction the best.

7) I am married and I have been married to the love of my life for 2 and a half years. It will be 3 years in March.

8) We were married on St. Patrick's Day in Laguna Beach, CA, and it wasn't on purpose.. it just happened that way :p

9) I love Korean food, especially kimchi and banchan.

10) My mom and I don't talk at all and it's been 3 years since we last spoke. She doesn't agree with my lifestyle (because I'm with a woman)

I'm In It to Win It! Weightloss Regimen Trial-- Blogilates

Hi Everyone!

A few posts back I had mentioned that I was looking to lose some weight and was thinking about doing posts with my weightloss journey and how I'm doing it etc.

I don't know if you have heard of Blogilates on YouTube but Cassey seems awesome! and I love the fact that she has a ton of videos on YouTube for us to use for free! I first heard about Blogilates from Estee or essiebutton on youtube and ever since then I've always wanted to try blogilates out but haven't been motivated.

Well after searching the blogilates website (www.blogilates.com) I have officially decided to start her blogilates for beginners. The cool thing about it is that there is actually a calendar with like a beginners work out regimen and what to do each day. I'm going to start tomorrow and I'm pretty excited about it because Cassey makes working out look fun and one of my biggest issues with working out is that I get bored with it.

I also think that its really cool that there are a ton of different goodies that she sells as well.. from water bottles to workout clothing and a meal tracker etc.( I will be doing a workout clothing haul soon as well ) She has recipes and she also releases monthly calendars as well. I think it will also be a lot of fun because she highly encourages being engaged in social media as well. I'm actually excited to track my journey through instagram (instagram: dianakim1430) and through my blog as well.

If I'm going to have a baby next year, I have to be at my best health wise and I can't wait to see my progress. Any of you guys interested in doing it with me? I would love to have accountability partners to keep me on track!
